I looked at a lot of similar storage containers before taking a chance on this one. It is the perfect size to store a 10lb bag of small breed dry dog food. Time will tell if it is actually air tight, but it does seem to do the job. It is nice looking, easy to clean with the large opening, easy to open and scoop the dog food, and a good size to leave on the kitchen counter or store on a pantry shelf. The plastic that it's made out of is a little on the cheaper side but not horrible. I bought through Amazon Warehouse and the lid is a little warped (probably why someone else returned it). I thought about sending back but it's serviceable. All in all for the price it's fine.
