UPDATE: I removed a star because the scoop just broke while I was using it. I have only been using it for scooping dry cat food out of the container, and it snapped right at the base of the handle. Now I'm back to using a coffee cup to scoop food out.ORIGNAL REVIEW:This is just what I was looking for. I was tired of having to pull out the huge bag of cat food every time i needed to fill the auto-feeder. Now I don't have to worry about doing that.My only "bummer" is that it isn't a bit bigger. I normally get the largest bag of dry cat food from the store and this container will not hold the entire thing.Regardless, it is still a great storage solution and will save me time (and my back)I noticed this issue the first day I started using it - the button that causes the top to pop open in on the side. The issue is, when I lean over to open the storage container, I tend to hook my thumb on the top when my index finger presses the button on the side. My thumb is in such a place that it keeps the lid down. I think the mechanism could or should be looked at again for updates. Other than that, I do like this container. Just that the top/pop could be better thought out...I have dog food containers I love that fit perfectly in my kitchen cabinet which was great until I switched brands and now the containers don't hold the full bag. This left me with open partial bags of dog food that I was storing in my closet. This is an issue for 2 reasons: 1. The door always had to be closed so one of the dogs didn't sneak in and eat it all and 2. I was afraid my clothes were going to smell like dog food. This little container is perfect to hold the overflow, will be easy to transfer to the bigger container, keeps the dogs out, and protects my clothes! When I'm not using it, it folds up - perfect! It will be great for trips as well. The scoop and bowl are a nice added bonus that will come in handy. It is not perfectly airtight, but neither are my other containers and it's never been an issue for me.I got this to take in the rv for a 2 week trip to the lake. It’s really really nice. I like the hinged lid that pops open with a button and it comes with a handy scooper to scoop the food into their bowl. It also had a little collapsible water bowl with it too. The storage container is nice because when you aren’t using it you can collapse it down and it takes up less space. I really like this container and scoop.I really like this dog food container! Such a great surprise that it comes with a sturdy scoop, carry handle and is collapsible also for easy use anywhere. The lid is air tight and looks to have a filter also to keep food fresh. I have been looking for a good container for my dogs dry food and this is the best one! Easy to collapse and pop up, and very strong carrying handle. It also comes with a small travel collapse bowl too! I would recommend this and buy some for my family members too!I am absolutely so pleased with this Collapsible Food Storage for my dog.
